Lune Valley 26/6

Today Emily and her mum Gabrielle took me to Lune Valley DTC Agility Show. We are staying at Emily's grandparents house in Arnside which has a nice garden to chase the ball in! In my first run I wasnt sure of the heat so went a bit slow and knocked a pole down which Emily keeps saying that I never do! Then in the graded agility I went past the first pole on the weaves so got 5 faults. But then after lunch I thought that if I didnt get a clear I wouldnt get more gammon fat! So in my next run which was combined 4-5 jumping I ran clear and almost got a 5th but the last dog that ran beat me by seconds. GRRRR! I was so determined to get a placing that I went clear in the 4-5 agility and got 2nd! Then we went and did the junior agility, got a clear and got 3rd! This was against all sizes and grades 4-7! So a very pleasing day! Listen out soon for tomorrow's events!

Saturday-Llanerch Y Medd Companion Show

On Saturday Emily took me to Llanerch Y Medd Companion Show ran by the trainer Edith Miller. We had Rusty for the day, I thought he was going to be a pain but he was actually a nice companion to have with us and he certaintly kept Emily warm from the cool breeze that there was. In my first class which was A.V. Non-Sporting which was a large class of 13 dogs we didn't suspect anything but suprsingly got a 3rd place which Emily was very pleased of! Then she handled me in the Child Handler 12-16 years which she won and went on to win Overall Best Child Handler! I showed off dancing to Pencil Full of Lead by Paolo Nutini where every one awed and clapped for me for the Garreg Ddu Team Demonstration. Then went on to compete in the novelty classes where i got 2nd in Best Trick. I also won the agility and won Emily £2 for it! Doing it in 14 seconds! So a very succesfull day for us and 3 more rosettes for my wall and one more trophy for the cabinet (even though we dont have one!). Next Weekend is my first agility show in grade 4! So listen out for hopefully more success!
